Enter the Wizard Cottage 🧙‍♂️🛖🪻| Faraway Fairytales ✨

Faraway Fairytales: Jupitaz Moon

If you follow the crooked forest path long enough, you will eventually find it.

Not by map. Not by compass.

But by scent.

The forest grows quiet as evening settles in lavender light. Moss climbs the trunks of ancient trees like soft green velvet, and the air carries the cool hush of twilight. Somewhere in the distance an owl calls once, low and thoughtful, as though announcing that the day’s serious business has ended and the stranger hours may now begin.

Then the breeze shifts.

A calm, silvery fragrance drifts through the woods.

Lavender.

Soft as dusk settling over the hills, its gentle floral perfume floats through the air like a lullaby the forest itself is humming. It is soothing, thoughtful, a scent that seems to slow the pulse and quiet the mind.

You follow it.

The path bends between ferns and mushrooms that glow faintly beneath the trees, until at last the forest opens into a clearing bathed in soft violet twilight.

There it stands.

The Wizard Cottage.

A charming, slightly crooked little house with a steep roof and glowing windows, as though the cottage itself has been smiling quietly for centuries. Wisps of silver smoke curl lazily from the chimney, twisting through the twilight like playful spirits.

The garden surrounding it is a wild and wonderful chaos.

Bundles of drying sage and rosemary hang from wooden posts. Clay pots bubble gently over small blue flames. Books lie open on stone tables beside magnifying glasses and strange brass instruments that tick softly in the fading light.

You push open the garden gate.

Immediately the air deepens.

From somewhere near the doorway rises the cool, curious scent of camphor, sharp and mysterious, like ancient remedies whispered about in old libraries and alchemists’ journals. It tingles faintly in the air, bright and invigorating, clearing the mind like a sudden flash of insight.

Inside the cottage, the warmth grows richer.

A kettle simmers gently above a small iron stove, filling the room with the soft, golden comfort of chamomile. The scent is warm and soothing, like a quiet conversation by firelight, patient and wise.

You can almost imagine the wizard who lives here.

Perhaps a little eccentric.

A little brilliant.

The sort of person who forgets where they placed their spectacles but can explain the movement of the stars with perfect clarity.

Outside, the forest breathes slowly around the cottage.

Lavender drifts through the garden once more. Sage leaves rustle softly in the breeze. Somewhere a stack of parchment papers flutters like startled birds before settling again.

Beneath it all lies something deeper.

The grounding warmth of ancient wood.

The cottage itself is built from rich cedarwood, its beams darkened with time and candle smoke. The scent of it rises gently from the walls and floors, smooth and steady, carrying the quiet strength of forests long past.

And layered beneath even that is the creamy warmth of sandalwood, soft and meditative, like the lingering echo of ancient wisdom. It settles through the cottage like a calm breath, grounding the swirling herbs and flowers into something peaceful and whole.

Lavender drifting like twilight through the garden.

Camphor bright as sudden insight.

Chamomile warm and gentle by the hearth.

Sage and rosemary whispering with herbal wisdom.

Cedarwood steady as the forest itself.

Sandalwood deep and contemplative beneath it all.

A window upstairs creaks open.

A puff of purple smoke escapes into the evening air.

For a moment you hear laughter.

Warm. Curious. Slightly mischievous.

The kind of laugh that suggests someone inside the cottage has just discovered something remarkable… or accidentally turned a teapot into a frog.

Hard to say which.

When you light The Wizard Cottage, the clearing appears once more.

First lavender settles softly into the air.

Then camphor awakens the senses with bright clarity.

Chamomile unfolds gently like warm tea in a quiet room.

Sage and rosemary rise like herbs in an ancient apothecary.

Cedarwood anchors the space with forest strength.

And sandalwood lingers like a final thoughtful spell.

From the Faraway Fairytales collection by Jupitaz Moon,

The Wizard Cottage is the scent of quiet wisdom, curious experiments, and a little bit of magical mischief.

Because the wisest wizards, after all…

Know when to laugh at their own spells. ✨🔮
